The College of Science and Arts in Bisha - King Khalid University was started by decision of the Higher Education Council dated 5/7/1428 AH, crowned with Royal Approval No. 3030/MB dated 3/23/1428 AH. On the second of Jumada al-Akhirah 1435 AH, corresponding to April 3, 2014, an order was issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God Almighty have mercy on him, to establish Bisha University. On the date of 8/26/1438 AH, the College of Sciences and Arts was restructured by a decision of His Excellency the University President, so that the College of Sciences (male and female sections) became independent and included the following departments:
- Department of Physics
- Department of chemistry
- Department of Mathematics
- Department of Biology
